Time for another edition of “Let’s Criticize the Hell Out of My Amateur Photographs!” In this update, I fail to capture the industrial feel of IKEA (I know, how could you manage to fail at that, right?).  So if you’ve got time, you can help me, another human being, in her hour of need, develop her technical expertise and get better at capturing the world around her. Enjoy!

  1. I don’t see any fault with it. The composition and colour are excellent. It looks like a computer company’s office block, or the headquarters of the UN, not a store. If I wanted to be really fussy, I would suggest cropping the bit of yellow and brown out from the bottom of the picture, and it would have been great if all parking spaces were full so you got a story about rampant commercialism … and if you cropped a tiny bit from the sky too, it would make the building seem more imposing. But seriously, you did a very good job here.
